Privacy Policy

Keptly is a household organization app owned and operated by Reytech LLC. Keptly helps users manage household tasks, calendars, shopping lists, pantry items, recipes, meal plans, home assets, service records, protected Vault documents, household members, uploaded content, exports, household reports, and feedback during beta testing.

This Privacy Policy explains how Keptly collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the app.

By using Keptly, you agree to the collection and use of information described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Keptly collects information you provide directly, information created through your use of the app, and limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the app.

Account Information

• Your email address
• Your user ID
• Your display name or profile name, if provided
• Profile photos, logos, or account images you choose to upload
• Login and authentication information handled through our authentication provider

Household Information

• Household name
• Home type
• Household member relationships within the app
• Roles and permissions, such as owner, member, or child
• Household invitations
• Household join requests
• Household activity related to membership or permissions

Tasks, Shopping, Pantry, and Records

• Tasks and due dates
• Task assignments
• Recurring task settings
• Task instructions, priorities, effort estimates, checklists, and activity history
• Shopping list items
• Store names, trip budgets, aisles, estimated prices, and checkout prices
• Product barcodes, product images, and product lookup results you save
• Pantry items
• Recipes, ingredients, favorites, and meal-plan entries
• Household diet styles, allergies, dietary restrictions, disliked ingredients, and meal-planning notes you choose to save
• Home assets, purchase details, rooms, warranties, and maintenance schedules
• Service providers
• Service records
• Notes
• Amounts or costs related to service records
• Uploaded documents, photos, receipts, invoices, warranties, or other files
• Exported household records, service history, provider lists, CSV files, and Home Binder PDF reports created at your request
• Export settings, such as report presets, date ranges, record filters, included sections, costs, notes, and document status

Camera and Barcode Information

If you use barcode scanning, Keptly requests camera permission so the app can read a product barcode. Keptly does not save the live camera feed as part of barcode scanning. The barcode number is sent to Open Food Facts and Open Prices to request available product information and recent reference prices. If you save the result, the barcode and selected product details may be stored with your household shopping or Pantry data.

Barcode product information and reference prices come from third-party community databases and may be missing, outdated, or inaccurate.

Household Vault and Biometric Authentication

Vault documents and related metadata may contain sensitive household information. Vault access is limited to household owners and adult members whom an owner authorizes. Child accounts cannot access the Vault. Keptly requires password re-verification or supported device biometrics before displaying Vault contents.

Face ID, Touch ID, and other biometric matching are performed by your device and operating system. Keptly receives only the authentication result and does not receive or store your biometric template.

Google Calendar and Google Tasks Information

If you choose to connect Google, Keptly may access or store information needed for Google Calendar and Google Tasks syncing, such as connection status, calendar IDs or names, task-related calendar events, items in your default Google Tasks list, sync tokens, or technical identifiers needed to keep the selected sync features working.

Optional AI Features

When you actively use an AI feature, Keptly may send your request and the relevant household tasks, events, connected calendar details, recipes, meal plans, saved dietary preferences, Pantry or Shopping items, or service-record content to an AI service provider to generate the response you requested. Saved dietary preferences are sent only for an active meal-planning or recipe request after you accept the contextual disclosure. This may include task breakdowns, daily focus plans, calendar planning, meal suggestions, recipe drafts, or service-record extraction. AI suggestions are drafts and should be reviewed before you save or rely on them.

Keptly does not use this information to train generalized AI models and does not permit its AI provider to do so on Keptly's behalf.

2. How We Use Information

• Create CSV exports and Home Binder PDF reports at your request
• Apply export presets, filters, and included sections selected by you
• Display profile images, logos, names, and household member identities where needed
• Process subscription access
• Respond to support or feedback requests
• Debug issues and improve app performance
• Understand how features such as exports, duplication tools, records, and subscriptions are used

• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

3. How Household Sharing Works

Keptly is designed for household collaboration. Information you add to a household may be visible to other members of that household depending on their role and permissions.

Household members may be able to see tasks, shopping lists, pantry items, recipes, meal plans, household dietary preferences, home assets, service records, assigned members, household activity, uploaded content, household member names, roles, profile images, and account display information. Vault documents are limited to owners and authorized adult members and are not visible to child accounts or unauthorized members.

You should only invite people you trust to your household. Household owners or users with certain permissions may be able to manage members, invitations, providers, service records, and other household data.

4. Uploaded Content

Keptly may allow users to upload files, images, screenshots, profile photos, logos, receipts, invoices, warranties, or service-related documents.

Uploaded content is used to provide app features and may be stored with our service providers.

You are responsible for the content you upload. Do not upload content that you do not have permission to use or share.

5. Exports and Downloaded Files

Keptly may allow users to export household data, service history, provider information, costs, notes, document status, missing receipt summaries, and other household record information as CSV files or Home Binder PDF reports.

Exported files are created at your request. Once you export, save, download, print, email, or share a file outside of Keptly, you are responsible for protecting that file and controlling who has access to it.

Keptly may collect limited usage analytics about export activity, such as the export format, export type, and export source, to understand how export features are used and to improve the app.

Keptly does not sell exported household data or use exported household records for third-party advertising sales.

6. Third-Party Services

Keptly uses third-party services to operate the app. These services may process information on our behalf.

• Supabase for authentication, database, file storage, and backend services
• Expo services for app development, notifications, and builds
• RevenueCat for subscription management
• Apple or Google for app distribution, purchases, and platform services
• Google Calendar and Google Tasks APIs if you connect Google
• OpenAI API or another disclosed AI service provider when you choose to use an AI feature
• Open Food Facts and Open Prices when you scan or look up a supported product barcode
• PostHog or similar analytics services for product usage analytics, feature usage, export activity, duplication activity, app events, and performance insights
• Other analytics, crash reporting, or infrastructure services we may use to operate and improve the app

7. Google Calendar and Google Tasks Data

If you choose to connect Google, Keptly may access calendar and task information needed to provide the syncing features you select.

Keptly may read your calendar list to identify your primary calendar; read, create, update, or delete events on calendars you own; and read, create, update, complete, or delete items in your default Google Tasks list. Google Tasks stores due dates but does not store Keptly task times.

Keptly uses Google Calendar and Google Tasks data only for user-facing features you choose, including syncing and optional Calendar AI planning. If you actively use Calendar AI and give the contextual consent shown in the app, Keptly may send only the relevant Google calendar or task details to its AI service provider to generate the requested plan. AI suggestions are not saved automatically.

Keptly does not use Google data for advertising, does not sell it, and does not use it to create, train, or improve generalized AI models. Keptly does not allow humans to read this Google data unless necessary for security, support, debugging, legal compliance, or with your permission.

Keptly's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You may disconnect Google Calendar and Google Tasks access at any time through your account settings, Google account permissions, or the app if available.

8. Push Notifications

Keptly may send push notifications if you enable them. Notifications may include task reminders, household activity alerts, calendar-related reminders, app updates, or important service messages.

9. Children and Household Member Roles

Keptly may include household roles such as child accounts or restricted member permissions.

Keptly is intended to be used under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or household owner when minors are involved.

10. Data Storage and Security

Keptly uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Vault role restrictions and re-authentication add access controls but do not replace your responsibility to protect your account, device, exported files, and copies saved outside Keptly.

11. Data Retention

Keptly keeps information for as long as needed to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security.

Some data may remain in backups or logs for a limited period after deletion. Feedback, logs, and screenshots submitted during beta testing may be retained to troubleshoot issues and improve the app.

13. Account and Data Deletion

You may request account or data deletion by contacting us at reytechnc@outlook.com or through the account deletion request feature inside the app.

When requesting deletion, please include the email address associated with your Keptly account.

If your account is part of a shared household, some household data may remain available to other household members unless the household owner deletes that data or the household itself.

14. Subscription Data

If you purchase a subscription, billing is handled by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or another payment provider. Keptly may receive subscription status information to determine whether premium features should be enabled.

15. International Users

Keptly may be operated using service providers located in different regions. By using Keptly, you understand that your information may be processed and stored in locations outside your state, province, or country.

16. Do Not Sell Statement

Keptly does not sell your personal information.

Keptly does not use your household data, service records, exported files, screenshots, Google Calendar or Google Tasks data, uploaded documents, profile images, saved barcodes, product lookup results, or feedback logs for third-party advertising sales.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify users through the app, by email, or by updating the effective date at the top of this page.
